You are right that organizational complacency is a silent business killer. It’s something management needs to be constantly aware of and take necessary precaution and action.

I can think of many organisations that were destroyed by complacency. The organisation’s culture must be a shield to complacency. Edcon is South Africa is a typical example of an organisation that is currently experiencing huge problems because of complacency and failure to change.
