Linkedin and Plaxo traffic increasing, XING dropping

Linkedin has been growing its traffic by 89% in the last 12 months and posting over 15 million visitors for the month October 2009, according to Compete

XING dropped -17.30% in the same periode, from 153.454 to 126,914 monthly visitors.

Other notable social media sites and their traffic for October:

  • Facebook - 128,940,004, up +188.67% over the last 12 months
  • Naymz - 378,087, down -16.53% over the last 12 months
  • Plaxo - 2,082,184, up +2.50% over the last 12 months
  • Slideshare - 59,282, up +85.90% over the last 12 months
  • Twitter - 23,042,455, up +577.92% over the last 12 months
  • Visualcv - 52,065, down -5.49% over the last 12 months
