To ensure that the vision, mission, strategy and values are implemented it is important to involve the organization in the process.

A way of doing it is to arrange workshops:

  • What do I do to make the vision, mission, strategy and values more relevant to my employees?
  • What do the vision, mission, strategy and values mean to me, my department and my employees?
  • What barriers do I see?

Commitment requires involvement and time:

  • Commitment to the strategy is ensured when business line management are given the opportunity to participate in and influence the process
  • Management must be ready to take the time to fully take part in the process
